About Taylor Ashley Therapy

Taylor Ashley, MA, CCTP-II
Psychotherapist | Certified Clinical Trauma Practitioner | ADHD & Eating Disorder Specialist
I offer individual therapy for clients struggling with trauma, PTSD, CPTSD, ADHD, eating disorders, and body image. My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and focuses on building self-awareness and emotional resilience, drawing on Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Work, Polyvagal Theory, and Emotion-Focused Therapy. I specialize in helping individuals navigate the complexities of these challenges, offering a compassionate and client-centred space for healing.
As the founder of Taylor Ashley Therapy in Guelph, Ontario, I am deeply committed to challenging the societal pressures that equate health with thinness and promote harmful body image ideals. Having gone through my own journey of eating disorder recovery and ADHD, I understand the immense pressures placed on individuals and how these affect both mental and physical health.
I approach my work through a Health at Every Size (HAES) and body neutrality lens, helping individuals develop respect and care for their bodies—especially on the days when love feels out of reach. My goal is to provide support and validation while empowering clients to build healthier relationships with their bodies, mind, and self-worth.
In addition to individual therapy, I offer workshops and educational resources focused on trauma, eating disorders, ADHD, and body image. I also work with adolescents (ages 8+) and welcome clients who are ready to embark on a healing journey. If you're seeking a compassionate, holistic approach to your challenges, I’d be honoured to support you.
Your Wellness Expert
It’s a cliché, but it’s grounded in truth: There is so much more that unites us as humans than that which divides us. We all have a deep-rooted need for communal support. We all feel physically better when our minds are in good shape, and we all could benefit from a less cluttered routine.
I’m thrilled that we get to explore these topics together. I’m here not to teach you, but to learn with you, as we navigate life’s seasons. This is a safe space. Let’s throw all stigmas out the window as we work to increase our wellness of body and spirit.
